                                            [0] => Based on provincial presidential reports of Goiás, between 1835 and 1850, this article seeks to present an indigenous history read between the lines of the narrative about the history of Brazil. We try to understand the dynamic of the indigenist policies in the region, which reflect, on the regional level, the very tension between extermination and mildness characteristic of indigenist speeches and practices of the time.
                                            [1] => Con base en los informes de los presidentes provinciales de Goiás (1835 -1850), el artículo busca ofrecer visibilidad a una historia indígena entre líneas de la narrativa sobre la historia brasileña. Intentamos comprender la dinámica de la política indigenista en la región, la cual refleja, en nivel regional, la tensión entre exterminio y apacibilidad característica de los discursos y prácticas relativos a los indígenas de la época.
                                            [2] => A partir dos relatórios dos presidentes da província de Goiás, entre 1835 e 1850, o artigo procura dar visibilidade a uma história indígena nas entrelinhas da narrativa sobre a história do Brasil. Trata-se de compreender a dinâmica da política indigenista na região, que reflete, no plano regional, a tensão entre extermínio e brandura característica de discursos e práticas indigenistas da época, bem como a multiplicidade de estratégias de resistência indígena.
