                                            [0] => Based on an extensive bibliographic review, this article analyzes in an original way aspects of the tutelary administration of the Terena people by the SPI, seeking to understand how the legal tutelage, instituted to provide protection and assistance to the indigenous people, was managed in practice, the effects it caused in the administered population and the strategies undertaken by the indigenous people to resist the colonial domination in this context.

                                            [1] => A partir de una extensa revisión bibliográfica, este artículo analiza de manera original aspectos de la administración tutelar del pueblo Terena por parte del SPI, buscando comprender cómo se gestionó en la práctica la tutela legal, instituida para conferir protección y asistencia a los pueblos indígenas, los efectos que causó en la población administrada y las estrategias emprendidas por los indígenas para resistir a la dominación colonial en este contexto.
