                    [0] => In this article, we propose a critical reflection in the light of platform capitalism on the actions taken by Twitter to combat misinformation during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this, we contextualized the phenomenon of disinformation and the pandemic, and carried out a case study based on documentary research of the platform’s activities. We emphasize that the platform´s coping strategy is based on two main perspectives: stopping misleading information through content moderation and providing secure information. Finally, we tensioned the proposals, pointing out the danger of an algorithmic solutionism and the limitation of some platform actions.@en
                    [1] => Neste artigo propomos uma reflexão crítica à luz do capitalismo de plataformas sobre as ações realizadas pelo Twitter para combater a desinformação durante a pandemia da Covid-19. Para isso, contextualizamos o fenômeno da desinformação nesse período e realizamos um estudo de caso a partir de pesquisa documental das atividades do Twitter. Destacamos que a estratégia de enfrentamento da plataforma se baseia em duas perspectivas principais: frear informações enganosas por meio de moderação de conteúdo e fornecer informações seguras. Por fim, tensionamos as propostas, apontando o perigo de um solucionismo algorítmico e a limitação de algumas ações da plataforma.@pt
