                    [0] => Introduction: technology acquisition is a way for companies to improve their performance. In order to truly fulfill this purpose, it is necessary to organize structure and formalize it as a process. Objective: identify the main difficulties in which they have incurred in this process a group of companies of the territory. Materials and Methods: qualitative and quantitative analyses were developed based on the results of the interviews with managers of the selected companies. Results and Discusion: a group of problems was identified in the different stages of the process (identification, acquisition, assimilation, diffusion, development and commercialization) that hinder its successful development. Conclusions: technology acquisition negotiations should be carried out as an orderly process, in several stages, involving qualified personnel and updated information from various sources, allowing the company to assimilate, improve and perfect the technologies it acquires, in search of its technological independence.@en
                    [1] => Introducción: la adquisición de tecnología es una vía que tienen las empresas para mejorar su desempeño. Para que cumplan verdaderamente con ese propósito es necesario que se organice, estructure y formalice como un proceso. Objetivo: identificar las principales dificultades incurridas en el proceso de negociación de adquisición de tecnología incorporada a un grupo de empresas. Material y métodos: se desarrollaron análisis cualitativos y cuantitativos a partir de los resultados que ofrecieron las entrevistas a directivos seleccionados. Resultados y discusión: fueron identificadas algunas insuficiencias en las diferentes etapas de realización del proceso, que deben ser tenidas en cuenta para un exitoso cumplimiento de las metas propuestas. Conclusiones: las negociaciones de adquisición de tecnología deben ejecutarse como un proceso ordenado, en varias etapas, que involucre personal calificado e información actualizada de varias fuentes, permitiendo a la organización asimilar, mejorar y perfeccionar las tecnologías que adquieran en busca de su independencia tecnológica.@es
