                    [0] => Community networks, due to their particular modes of composition, due to their natural and decentralized structure, stand as a stage worthy of attention and study by different scientific disciplines. Access and use of the network has generated transformations in users their daily practices, within which socialization with more people, changes in sleep schedules and modifications in language become more recurrent. The present investigation carried out a study of the users of the university community who belong to the Cuban informal network SNet (Street Network). The research methods used were: virtual ethnography, interviewing specialists (network administrators) and studied users; Participant observation was applied with the aim of maintaining a direct relationship with the observed subjects and sharing activities and practices with the social group studied. Among the most relevant results are the characteristics, habits and behaviors of the referred users, as well as elements related to the age range of the users, demographic indicators, teaching data identified in faculties, career they study and school year they study. The conclusions highlight that the main objectives and motivations related to the access and use of the network by users of the university community is to acquire audiovisual products, socialize, access information of interest and play video games.@en
                    [1] => Las redes comunitarias, por sus particulares modos de composición, por su estructura natural y descentralizada, se erigen como un escenario digno de atención y estudio por parte de diferentes disciplinas científicas. El acceso y uso de la red, ha generado en los usuarios transformaciones en sus prácticas cotidianas, dentro de las que se hacen más recurrentes la socialización con mayor número de personas, los cambios de los horarios de sueño y las modificaciones en el lenguaje. La presente investigación realizó un estudio de los usuarios de la comunidad universitaria que pertenecen a la red informal cubana SNet (Red de la calle). Los métodos de investigación empleados fueron: la etnografía virtual, la entrevista a especialistas (administradores de la red) y a los usuarios estudiados; se aplicó la observación participante con el objetivo de mantener una relación directa con los sujetos observados y compartir las actividades y las prácticas con el grupo social estudiado. Entre los resultados más relevantes se encuentran las características, hábitos y comportamientos de los referidos usuarios, así como elementos relacionados con el rango etario de los usuarios, indicadores demográficos, datos docentes identificados en facultades, carrera que estudian y año escolar que cursan. Las conclusiones resaltan que los principales objetivos y motivaciones relacionados con el acceso y uso de la red por parte de los usuarios de la comunidad universitaria es adquirir productos audiovisuales, socializar, acceder a información de interés y videojugar.@es
