                                            [0] => With the aim of identifying the positioning of scientific journa/sin Paraguay by analyzing citations, a descriptive study wascarried out with a quantitative approach, carried out betweenNovember 2016 and January 2017, using the Publish or Perishversión 5.25.2. We inciudedjourna/s that have gone through atleast one evaluation for their admission, be it datábase orindexing services, that count for the last three years (2014,2015,2016) online. In total, 30 journa/s were studied, mostly semiannual, published by universities in the área of Social Sciencesand Medical Sciences. A group of 10journa/s was foundin morethan three indexing services or databases, with previousevaluation of income.. The largest presence of journa/s was inthe Latindex cataiog. Regarding the impact factor, 14journalswere performed, the highest score obtained was 0.43corresponded to the Journal ofPublic Health of Paraguay, 0.32to the Pediatrics journal and the International Journal ofResearch in Social Sciences, 0.24 to the journal Memories ofthe Research Institute in Health Sciences and 0.15 to theAgrarian Research magazine. The group of journa/s withpositioning found is considered important. However, greaterÍmpetus is requiredfor the inclusión ofjourna/s in more indexingservices.
                                            [1] => Con el objetivo de identificar el posicionamiento de las revistascientíficas de Paraguay mediante análisis de citas, se rea/izó unestudio descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo entre el mes denoviembre de 2016 al mes de enero del 2017, utilizando Publishor Perish versión 5.25.2. Fueron incluidas revistas que hanpasado por al menos una evaluación, las cuales pudieron habersido a través de base de datos o servicios de indexación, quecuenten en los tres últimos años (2014, 2015, 2016) conpublicaciones en linea. En total se ana/izaron 30 revistas, en sumayoría de periodicidad semestral, publicadas poruniversidades del área de Ciencias Sociales y Ciencias Médicas,10 de ellas están en más de tres servicios de indexación o basesde datos, con previa evaluación de ingreso. La mayor presenciafue en el catálogo Latindex. En cuanto al factor de impacto, serealizó el análisis a 14 revistas, el mayor puntaje obtenido fuede 0.43 que correspondió a la Revista de Salud Pública delParaguay, 0.32 a la revista Pediatría y a la Revista Internacionalde Investigación en Ciencias Sociales, 0.24 a la revista Memoriasdel Instituto de Investigaciones en Ciencias de la Salud y 0.15 ala revista Investigación Agraria. El grupo de revistas conposicionamiento encontrado se considera importante. Sinembargo, se requiere de mayor impulso para la inclusión de lasrevistas en más servicios de indexación
