                                            [0] => University publishers arise with the objective of making the scientific production of education researchers known to the world, with the explicit intention of developing knowledge in users and expanding their field of research; in the case of the Cuban university publishers, these are related to information, since they maintain the dissemination of scientific productions of the Cuban higher education system and contribute to the search for accurate and relevant information using information technologies and the communication. This research aims to characterize the socialization of scientific results in the university publisher Universo Sur, using an exploratory-descriptive methodology, with a qualitative approach. The most relevant results show a brief exposition of the activity of this publisher  and the actions taken for the socialization of the scientific results in it. This investigation has revealed a way for the research of academics and researchers to have a better impact on national and international databases.
 
                                            [1] => Las editoriales universitarias surgen con el objetivo de dar a conocer al mundo la producción científica de los investigadores de la educación, con la intención explicita de desarrollar el conocimiento en los usuarios y ampliar el campo de investigación de los mismos; en el caso de las editoriales universitarias cubanas, estas se encuentran relacionadas con la información, pues mantienen la divulgación de las producciones científicas del sistema de educación superior cubano y contribuyen a la búsqueda de la información precisa y pertinente utilizando las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo caracterizar la socialización de los resultados científicos en la editorial universitaria Universo Sur, empleándose una metodología exploratoria-descriptiva, con enfoque cualitativo. Los resultados más relevantes muestran una breve exposición de la actividad de esta editorial y las acciones empleadas para la socialización de los resultados científicos en la misma. Esta indagación ha permitido conocer una vía para que las investigaciones de los académicos e investigadores posean un mejor impacto en las bases de datos nacionales e internacionales.
