                                            [0] => Introduction: knowledge is a capital that allows higher education institutions to make decisions within the framework of the incidence in specific realities and contexts. In this sense, the systematization of experiences constitutes a key evaluation alternative. Objective: analyze the scientific production of the research group of an academic unit specialized in the family to improve socialization and the application of results due to their practical relevance, in the different contexts in which they may affect. Methodology: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out that included a mixed investigation through documentary consultation and semi-structured interview. Thus the documents also correspond to primary sources that account for the production of scientific knowledge. Results and discussion: 74 research products in articles, books, book chapters, practical guides and primers in the period of December 2014 and December 2018 on the topics of family relationships; Health; affectivity and sexuality; family and school relationship; family and work; family and television. The academic production is related to the trends of studies on family in Colombia in the period. Conclusions: The interests and personal characteristics of researchers influence the research products, their function or social application. The systematization of the experience shows the possibility of changes in the academic unit aimed at improving the processes of articulation of research with social projection and teaching. Likewise, the opportunities for sectoral and territorial incidence of the research results
                                            [1] => Introducción: el conocimiento es un capital que les permite a las instituciones de educación superior tomar decisiones en el marco de la incidencia en realidades y contextos específicos. En este sentido, la sistematización de experiencias se constituye en una alternativa de evaluación clave. Objetivo: analizar la producción científica del grupo de investigación de una unidad académica especializada en familia para mejorar la socialización y la aplicación de resultados por su relevancia práctica, en los diferentes contextos en los que pueden incidir. Metodología: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal que incluyó una investigación mixta mediante consulta documental y entrevista semiestructurada. Así los documentos también corresponden a fuentes primarias que dan cuenta de la producción de conocimiento científico. Resultados y discusión: 74 productos de investigación en artículos, libros, capítulos de libro, guías prácticas y cartillas en el periodo de diciembre de 2014 y diciembre de 2018 en los temas de relaciones familiares; salud; afectividad y sexualidad; relación familia y escuela; familia y trabajo; familia y televisión. La producción académica se relaciona con las tendencias de estudios sobre familia en Colombia en el período. Conclusiones: Los intereses y características personales de los investigadores influyen en los productos de investigación, su función o aplicación social. La sistematización de la experiencia evidencia la posibilidad de cambios en la unidad académica orientados a mejorar los procesos de articulación de la investigación con la proyección social y la docencia. Asimismo, las oportunidades de incidencia sectorial y territorial de los resultados de investigación
