                                            [0] => In order to modestly contribute to knowledge of the Cuban pathological anatomy bibliography, the first texts written on this discipline are announced from a sample made up of the collection of the first newspaper that circulated in Cuba as well as books and monographs published in colonial times and all issues of the first medical journal produced in Cuba. The elements presented herein suggest the date at which the scientific activity emerged in the national territory and try to encourage the continuation of studies of this kind that may comprise later stages in the history of medical bibliography in general and
what regards the practice of pathological anatomy in particular.
                                            [1] => Con el objetivo de contribuir modestamente al conocimiento de la bibliografía cubana en materia de anatomía patológica, se anuncian los primeros textos escritos sobre esa disciplina, a partir de una muestra integrada por la colección del primer periódico que circuló en Cuba, así como por libros y monografías publicados en el período colonial y todas las entregas de la primera revista médica producida en el país. Los elementos que se exponen son sugerentes para situar el momento del surgimiento de la actividad científica en el territorio nacional, a la vez que tratan de estimular la continuación de estudios de este tipo que abarquen etapas posteriores de la historia de la bibliografía médica en general y de la referida a práctica de la anatomía patológica en particular.
