                                            [0] => After twenty years of the emergence of the Cuban’s enterprise management research field a great amount of literature about it has been generated. This literature can be analized in order to evaluate its development. This paper is aimed at (1) determining the intellectual base of strategic management research in Cuba taking into account the bibliografic references cited on the articles published previously in the peer-review Folletos Gerenciales between 1997 and 2007, (2) defining the authors that play a pivotal role in the foundation of the theoretical approach of strategic management in Cuban’s economics conditions (3) elucidating the key factors that have contributed to the rising of the publications on this subject as a rigorou  research field of inquiry in Cuba. The bibliometric technique of author co-citation analysis is used, as well as the Multidimentional Scaling as a statistical technique to graphically map the authors in two spatial dimensions in order to visualize those that play a pivotal role in the creation of the intellectual base of strategic management research in Cuba. The SYSTAT statistical software was used to analyze the data.
                                            [1] => Después de 20 años de iniciado el estudio e introducción de técnicas novedosas de dirección en el sistema empresarial cubano, se ha generado un cuerpo de literatura que permite un análisis para evaluar su desarrollo. Con este trabajo se pretende determinar la base intelectual de la investigación en dirección estratégica en Cuba, a partir de las referencias bibliográficas empleadas en los artículos relacionados con el tema, que han sido publicadas en la revista arbitrada Folletos Gerenciales entre los años 1997 a 2007. Se definen además los principales autores que han influido en la creación del cuerpo teórico de la dirección estratégica en las condiciones cubanas y, por último, se muestran los elementos que han contribuido al desarrollo de la producción científica de este campo de investigación en el país. Se emplea la técnica bibliométrica, análisis de citas conjuntas y, como herramienta estadística, el escalamiento multidimensional, para graficar en dos dimensiones espaciales y visualizar los autores que más influencias han ejercido en la creación de la base intelectual en dirección estratégica en Cuba. Se utiliza, para el procesamiento de los datos, el programa estadístico SYSTAT.
