                                            [0] => Herein is studied the interdisciplinary condition of the Information Science, based on a consensus in the area about the presence of this science since its origin and from the point of view of the
development of the phenomenon of being an interdisciplinary science. In the context is analyzed the interdisciplinary phenomenon, from the historical point of view of two moments of the development of the area: foundational and critical.
Are identified two paradigms that have influence on the conception about the interdisciplinary condition of the Information Science, which coincides with each of the development moments of the area. Is highlighted the multidimensional nature of the central problem or study object of the discipline: the information, as the permanent
source of the interdisciplinary science.
                                            [1] => Se realiza un examen de la condición interdisciplinar de la Ciencia de la Información sobre la base de un consenso en el área acerca de la presencia desde su origen y a través de su desarrollo del fenómeno ¨interdisciplinariedad¨. Se contextualiza el análisis del fenómeno interdisciplinar dentro del marco histórico de dos fases de desarrollo del área: etapa fundacional y etapa crítica. Se identifican dos paradigmas influyentes en la concepción de la condició interdisciplinar de la Ciencia de la Información , coincidiendo con cada una de las fases de desarrollo del área. Se destaca la naturaleza multidimensional del objeto de estudio o problema central de la disciplina: la información, planteada como la fuente permanente de interdisciplinariedad
