                                            [1] => Este trabajo presenta un panorama histórico sobre la Sociedad de la información (SI) y las diferentes corrientes desde el punto de vista conceptual de los respectivos teóricos de esta sociedad. Se analizan las grandes alteraciones que este fenómeno ha desencadenado en el ámbito laboral, cultural y económico. Como reflexión final se aborda que el advenimiento de las Tecnologías de Información Comunicación (TICs) y la convergencia de la informática, electrónica y las telecomunicaciones ha hecho posible que actualmente se puedan manejar grandes volúmenes de información en tiempo real.
