                                            [0] => We are conscious of the need of a suitable technological updating, but because year after year enormous amounts of new features in all the branches of the knowledge are published, satisfying this need becomes complicated. To manage to take advantage to the maximum of this large volume of generated material, we consider indispensable to facilitate its use and spread it somehow, taking into account that the specialized information is a fundamental element in order to achieve the success in this more and more competitive world, technologically speaking. We consider that a service of technological updating is the solution to this problem since through this means one can offer in ordered classified and simple form, such amount of information, and if we manage to take advantage in effective way of the capacities of Informatics one can also offer it by electronic means in a parallel way to the traditional form. In this study we raised the need and usefulness of the technological updating services, its characteristics, the use of Internet to offer it in a simpler and efficient way, and finally we present a case of application in one of the information services that provides the Technological Information Center of the Instituto de Investigaciones Electricas de Cuernavaca, Morelos, México
                                            [1] => Es obvia la necesidad de contar con una adecuada actualización tecnológica, pero debido a que año con año se publican enormes cantidades de novedades en todas las ramas del conocimiento, satisfacer esta necesidad se complica. Para aprovechar al máximo este gran volumen de material, consideramos indispensable facilitar su uso y difundirlo de alguna manera, tomando en cuenta que la información especializada es un elemento fundamental para alcanzar el éxito en este mundo, cada vez más competitivo desde el punto de vista tecnológico. Un servicio de actualización tecnológica es la solución a esta problemática ya que por este medio se puede ofrecer de forma ordenada, clasificada y sencilla una cantidad de información que si logramos aprovechar de manera efectiva, las bondades de la telemática se pueden ofrecer tanto por medios electrónicos como por las formas tradicionales. En este estudio planteamos la necesidad y utilidad de los servicios de actualización tecnológica, sus características, la utilización de Internet para ofrecerlo de manera más sencilla y eficiente y, por último, presentamos un caso de aplicación en uno de los  servicios de información que proporciona el centro de información tecnológica del Instituto de Investigaciones Eléctricas de Cuernavaca, Morelos, México.
