                                            [0] => The objective of this paper was to evaluate the excellence level of the farming scientific journal Pastos y Forrajes. In order to achieve it, an adjustment of the methodology for determining the level of Industrial Organizing Excellence developed by Suárez Mella was made; and the evaluation criteria of the Permanent Comission of Publications of the Cuban Academy of Science, as well as those of the director, editor and members of the Editorial Committee of the journal, were taken into account. The excellence level of the journal reached 66,6% in 1996 and from an improvement program 76% was achieved in 2002.                                             [1] => El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar el nivel de excelencia de la revista científica agropecuaria Pastos y Forrajes. Para ello se realizó una adecuación de la metodología para la determinación del nivel de Excelencia Organizativa Industrial, desarrollada por Suárez Mella y se tomaron en cuenta los criterios de evaluación de la Comisión Permanente de Publicaciones de la Academia de Ciencias de Cuba y los de la directora, la editora y los miembros del Comité Editorial de dicha revista. El nivel de excelencia de la revista alcanzó 66,6% en 1996 y a partir de un programa de mejora se logró 76% en el 2002. El trabajo permitió determinar los indicadores más críticos, así como la evolución del nivel de excelencia en el tiempo.
