                                            [0] => Management techniques and tools have been incorporated to the daily work of information professionals in the last years. As the application of these techniques and tools has advanced, more results have been obtained and a better insertion in its environment has been achieved. With LISA Plus database (Library and Information Science Abstracts) different analysis have been done trying to represent the evolution of the presence of different themes in the LIS specialized literature, demonstrating an outstanding presence. Taking as a starting point some subjects proposed by Koenig, this analysis is complemented with some new themes that in next years could be priorities for information managers. Its knowledge and domain could permit the management of the future.
                                            [1] => Las técnicas y herramientas de la gestión se han incorporado al quehacer de los profesionales de la información desde hace ya varios años. En la medida que ha avanzado la aplicación de éstas se ha ido mejorando sus resultados y se ha logrado una mayor inserción en su medio. A partir de la BD LISA se han preparado diferentes análisis de la presencia de diferentes temas de gestión en la literatura especializada evidenciando una notable presencia. Asimismo tomando como punto de partida algunos temas propuestos por Koenig, se complementa el análisis con un conjunto de nuevos aspectos que se espera que en los próximos años constituyan las prioridades para los gerentes de información de las organizaciones. Su conocimiento y dominio le permitira gestionar el futuro.
