                    [0] => Citizen science consists of an opening to society´s participation in the production of scientific knowledge, providing the inclusion of social actors from different sociodemographic segments in the scientific investigation process. This study aims to understand how citizen science can be configured as an inclusive instrument, considering the inequalities that exclude different social groups from the knowledge construction. Bibliographical research was carried out, supported by an indiciary paradigm, in order to establish relationships between the studied practices. The results showed the ways in which science can approach the public and how citizen science promotes greater social inclusion, considering the educational, instructive, occupational and democratic character of its objectives and projects. It was also found that this inclusion can take place mainly from scientific literacy and the participation of different segments of the population in citizen science projects.@en
                    [1] => A ciência cidadã consiste em uma abertura à participação da sociedade na produção do conhecimento científico, proporcionando a inclusão de atores sociais de diferentes segmentos sociodemográficos no processo de investigação científica. Este estudo objetiva compreender como a ciência cidadã pode configurar-se como um instrumento de caráter inclusivo, tendo em vista as desigualdades que excluem diversos grupos sociais da construção do conhecimento. Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, amparada por uma perspectiva indiciária, no intuito de estabelecer relações entre as práticas estudadas. Como resultados, evidenciaram-se as formas pelas quais a ciência pode se aproximar do público e como a ciência cidadã promove uma maior inclusão social, tendo em vista o caráter educativo, instrutivo, ocupacional e democrático de seus objetivos e projetos. Constatou-se também que essa inclusão pode efetivar-se principalmente a partir da alfabetização científica e da participação de diversos segmentos da população nos projetos de ciência cidadã.@pt
