                    [0] => In order to diagnose the state of the process of evaluation of the scientific information activity (ACI, Spanish abbreviation) at medical libraries in the province of Camagüey, both regulations that govern its performance in the health sector, as materials issued by national and international bodies, were analyzed. In addition, the Responsible for Methodological Service to the Network of the Provincial Information Center of Medical Sciences was interviewed; and a group of librarians were surveyed. The results show that the process as such is not of excellence. It was verified the lack of a methodological document to control it at the provincial level. The indicators system employed is not exhaustive. It is recommended the preparation of a methodology that defines not only the logical actions to follow during a process of evaluation of this kind, but also a system of indicators characterized by exhaustiveness.@en
                    [1] => Con el objetivo de diagnosticar el estado del proceso de evaluación de la actividad científico informativa (ACI) en las bibliotecas médicas de la provincia Camagüey, se analizaron tanto documentos normativos que rigen el accionar de ésta en el sector de la salud, como materiales emitidos por instancias nacionales e internacionales. Se entrevistó además, a la responsable del Departamento de Atención Metodológica a la Red, del Centro Provincial de Información de Ciencias Médicas y se encuestó a un grupo de bibliotecarias. Los resultados reflejan que el  proceso como tal no es de excelencia. Se constata la inexistencia de un documento metodológico que lo regule a nivel provincial. El sistema de indicadores empleado no es exhaustivo. Se recomienda la elaboración de una metodología que defina no sólo las acciones lógicas a seguir durante un proceso de evaluación de esta índole, sino también un sistema de indicadores caracterizado por la exhaustividad.@es
