                    [0] => The informational needs presented by doctoral students in relation to their doctoral thesis project, research areas and the global information society are reviewed. To this end, quantitative data were collected through a questionnaire on self-perception of the use and consultation of the library in doctoral students. In addition, data is collected and compared between 15 institutions in Spain, Mexico and Colombia, quantitative data present on the Web pages of each institution (doctoral programs, libraries and areas of knowledge). The results reiterate the need to redesign and of- fer services to doctoral students, since doctoral students, due to the nature of their studies, need to turn to more sources of information.@en
                    [1] => Se revisa las necesidades informacionales que presentan los estudiantes de doctorado con relación a su proyecto de tesis doctoral, áreas de investigación y sociedad global de la información. Para este fin, se recabaron datos cuantitativos a través de un cuestionario sobre la autopercepción del uso y consulta de la biblioteca en estudiantes de doctorado. Además, se recaban y comparan datos entre 15 instituciones de España, México y Colombia, datos cuantitativos presentes en las páginas web de cada institución (programas doctorales, bibliotecas y áreas de conocimiento). Los resultados reiteran la necesidad de rediseñar y ofrecer servicios a estudiantes doc- torales, toda vez que los estudiantes de doctorado por la naturaleza de sus estudios requieren acudir a más fuentes de información.@es
