                                            [0] => This paper presents the format used and the process followed to develop the program of space needs for the construction of the building for the Center for Information and Documentation (cid) of the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí. It explains that the same academic objectives of this University make it responsible for operating an efficient information system to support teaching, study and research. It discusses a number of considerations to take into account during the planning stage of building an information service unit, in order to calculate the space that requires an institution of this nature. Finally, it outlines the achievements made in constructing the building for the cid based on the request on the needs agenda prepared for that purpose.
                                            [1] => Se presenta el formato que se utilizó y el proceso que se siguió para elaborar el programa de necesidades de espacios para la construcción del edificio para el Centro de Información y Documentación (cid) de la Universidad Politécnica de San Luis Potosí. Se explica que los mismos objetivos universitarios hacen que la Universidad sea responsable de operar un sistema de información documental eficiente para apoyar las labores de docencia, estudio e investigación. Se expone una serie de consideraciones a tomar en cuenta durante la etapa de planeación del edificio de una unidad de servicios de información, para calcular los espacios que conforman una institución de esta naturaleza. Finalmente, se exponen los logros obtenidos en la construcción del edificio para el cid con base en lo solicitado en el programa de necesidades elaborado.
