                                            [0] => The curation of digital content is presented as one of the new competencies that in- formation professionals of the 21st century can count on. This article focuses on the figure of the academic librarian as a curator of digital content. From a comprehensive bibliographical review of documents on the subject, the curatorial processes that are described and exemplified are those activities that this academic professional can de- velop in conjunction with their traditional tasks within the university library. The foregoing in the context of the development of new information services by the latter institution, as a product of the demands of users immersed in the digital environment.
                                            [1] => La curaduría de contenidos digitales se presenta como una de las nuevas competencias con las que pueden contar los profesionales de la información en el siglo XXI. Este artículo se centra en la figura del bibliotecario académico universitario como content curator o curador de contenidos digitales. A partir de una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica de documentos sobre el tema se describen los procesos de curaduría y se ejemplifican aquellas actividades de esa técnica que este profesional puede desarrollar en conjunción con sus tareas tradicionales dentro de la biblioteca académica universitaria. Lo anterior en el contexto de desarrollo de nuevos servicios de información por parte de esta última institución, producto de las demandas de los usuarios inmersos en el entorno digital.
