                    [0] => The objective of this paper is to reflect on the evolution of specialized information resources in digital format over the past 35 years. It addresses the issue of the users’ response to specialized information and the responsibility of information professionals in the dissemination and training in the use of electronic resources. It points out some of the problems that prevent these resources to be used effectively. It high- lights the relationship between the explosion of information supply and the growth in the use and demand for these services. In addition, it questions whether the current supply of electronic information resources meets the needs of academic users.                     [1] => Se reflexiona acerca de la evolución de los recursos de información especializada en formato digital durante los últimos 35 años. Se aborda el tema de la respuesta de los usuarios de información especializada y la responsabilidad de los profesionales de la información en la difusión y capacitación de los recursos electrónicos. Se apuntan algunas de las problemáticas que impiden que estos recursos se utilicen de manera eficaz. Se trata sobre la relación entre la explosión de oferta informativa y el crecimiento en el uso y demanda de estos servicios. Además, cuestionamos si la oferta actual de recursos electrónicos satisface las necesidades de información de los usuarios universitarios.@es
