                                            [0] => The objective of this research is to understand the types of information, the way it is obtained and the preferences of use by the students of the Master of Library and Information Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in distance mode. In the methodology, the instrument used was the questionnaire, which was applied to the students, from the 2006-2009 generation, via e-mail. The research results show the types and preferences of the information used by the respondents, and the processes to locate it.
                                            [1] => El objetivo de la investigación es conocer los tipos de información, la manera en que es obtenida y las preferencias de uso por parte de los estudiantes de la Maestría en Bibliotecología y Estudios de la Información de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (MVyEI) en su modalidad a distancia. En la metodología el instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario, mismo que se aplicó vía correo electrónico a estudiantes de la generación 2006-2009. Los resultados de la investigación evidencian los tipos y preferencias de información utilizada por parte de los encuestados, así como los procesos para localizarla.
