                                            [0] => The purpose of this paper is to offer an unexplored approach to the studies of the old printed books in Argentinian libraries: the presence of medieval and humanistic manuscript fragments used as binding. We will offer a typology of in situ fragments according to their function in the binding through some exemplary cases.
