                    [0] => The objective of this paper is to reflect on the fundamental role of libraries as institutions which can assist their users in the development of their informational skills when dealing with the great information flow nowadays. In addition, this paper discusses the importance of libraries as spaces which promote the habit of reading and the pleasure of literature as possibilities of humanization and ethical considerations. These two characteristics of libraries and librarian’s performance are closely linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as we can see from practical examples of actions in the Libraries Senac Lapa Tito and Senac Francisco Matarazzo.@en
                    [1] => Objetiva-se refletir sobre o papel fundamental das bibliotecas como instituições capazes de promover em sua comunidade o desenvolvimento de competências informacionais ao lidar com o grande fluxo de informações da atualidade. Além disso, discute-se neste trabalho a importância das bibliotecas como espaços que fomentam o hábito da leitura e o prazer da literatura como possibilidades de humanização e de reflexões éticas. Essas duas características das bibliotecas e da atuação bibliotecária estão intimamente ligadas aos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), como será observado a partir de exemplos práticos realizados nas bibliotecas do Senac Lapa Tito e Francisco Matarazzo.@pt
