                                            [0] => The democratization of access to information, provoked by the technological evolution experienced today, brought with it the need to develop skills in the search and use of information. The librarians have, as their role, the training of users; they need to develop informational skills in students/researchers through informational literacy. The article presents the role of the university library and the librarian, presenting the experience report of Senac-DF Library Network, pointing out the main difficulties faced and their evolution. Faced with the new challenges, thepresent work emphasizes the importance of libraries organizing themselves and planning their services according to the needs and preferences of their users, because they are not for books – they are for people.
                                            [1] => A democratização do acesso à informação, provocada pela evolução tecnológica, trouxe consigo a necessidade de se desenvolver habilidades na busca e no uso da informação. O bibliotecário passa a ter como função a capacitação dos usuários; ele precisa desenvolver competências informacionais nos alunos/pesquisadores por meio do letramento informacional. O artigo apresenta o papel da biblioteca universitária e do bibliotecário, trazendo o relato de experiência da Rede de Bibliotecas do Senac-DF, pontuando as principais dificuldades enfrentadas e sua evolução. Diante dos novos desafios, o presente trabalho enfatiza a importância de as bibliotecas se organizarem e pensarem seus serviços em torno das necessidades e preferências de seus usuários, pois elas não são para os livros – são para as pessoas.
