                    [0] => This article deals with scientific journalism and its importance as an approximation agent in the propagation of science, regarding the relationship between the lay public and the results of scientific research. Far from exhausting the subject, the study does not claim to be conclusive, but aims to show that this branch of journalism contributes to the dissemination of scientific information in order to clarify the user of information about the results of scientific productions, the impacts they cause and the benefits they can bring with their applicability. The repercussion of subjects related to scientific research through scientific journalism is also addressed in the article, using as an example the journalistic information about the controversy between scientists Luc Montaigner of the Pasteur Institute in France and Robert Charles Gallo of the National Institute of Health, which in the decade of 80 disputed the discovery of AIDS and Human Immunodeficiency Virus – HIV (AIDS). The methodology of the work consisted of bibliographic and hemerographic research in order to provide the study with pertinent information on the subject.@en
                    [1] => O presente artigo trata do jornalismo científico e da sua importância como agente de aproximação na propagação da ciência e no que tange à relação entre público leigo e resultados de pesquisas científicas. Longe de esgotar o assunto, o estudo não tem a pretensão de ser conclusivo, mas objetiva mostrar que este ramo do jornalismo contribui na propagação da informação científica de modo a esclarecer o usuário da informação sobre resultados de produções científicas, os impactos que estas causam e os benefícios que elas podem trazer com sua aplicabilidade. A repercussão de assuntos ligados à pesquisa científica através do jornalismo científico também é abordada no artigo, usando como exemplo as informações jornalísticas sobre a polêmica entre os cientistas Luc Montaigner do Instituto Pasteur na França e Robert Charles Gallo do Instituto Nacional de Saúde, que na década de 80 disputaram a descoberta do Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana – HIV (AIDS). A metodologia do trabalho consistiu em pesquisas bibliográfica e hemerográfica a fim de munir o estudo com pertinentes informação sobre o tema.@pt
