                    [0] => In Information Science, the term information literacy was used for the first time in 1974 by a US librarian named Paul Zurkowski, in a report entitled: “The information service environment relationships and priorities”. There are certain sectors that govern our lives, which we need to have a minimum of information competence in order to have a more dignified existence, health care being one of these aspects that deserves critical analysis capacity from all human beings. Therefore, education and health are directly related concepts when it comes to disease prevention. Therefore, our goal is to relate information competence, critical information competence, and health information, and to assess, as an example, the importance of this relationship to minimize the risk of contagion from serious diseases, such as the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in vulnerable groups, such as refugees. Methodologically, this is a research based on the literature review about the theme, with exploratory aspects, regarding the relationship between critical health information literacy and the situation of vulnerability of refugees to the risks of contamination with HIV and the development of AIDS. We conclude that critical reflection, information literacy and informational behavior form an inseparable tripod, which is the key to the claim of human rights, including access to health.@en
                    [1] => Na Ciência da Informação, o termo information literacy, foi utilizado pela primeira vez em 1974, por um bibliotecário estadunidense, chamado Paul Zurkowski, em um relatório intitulado: The information service environment relationships and priorities. Há certos setores que regem nossas vidas, os quais precisamos ter o mínimo de competência em informação para podermos ter uma existência mais digna, sendo os cuidados com a saúde um destes aspectos que merece capacidade crítica de análise de todos os seres humanos. Portanto, educação e saúde são conceitos diretamente relacionados no que tange à prevenção de doenças. Posto isto, temos como objetivo relacionar competência em informação, competência crítica em informação e informação em saúde e aferir, para tanto, a título de exemplo, a importância dessa relação pra minimizar o risco de contágio de doenças graves, como a Sindrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida (AIDS) em grupos vulneráveis, como o dos refugiados. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma pesquisa pautada na revisão da literatura acerca da temática, com aspectos exploratórios, no que tange na relação entre competência crítica em informação em saúde com a situação de vulnerabilidade de refugiados ante os riscos de contaminação com HIV e o desenvolvimento da AIDS. Concluimos que reflexão crítica, competência em informação e comportamento informacional formam um tripé indissociável, o qual é a chave para a reivindicação dos direitos humanos, incluindo o acesso à saúde.@pt
