                    [0] => The organization is understood, by means the systemic approach, as a totality integrated by different levels of relations. It is the result of the interactions and interdependence of its parts; and information and knowledge constitute the input of the organizational activity in its different levels. Information flows are, therefore, the oxygen of organization, because is by means of the information flows that the organizational culture and communication maintain and feed the existing processes. Different information environments exist, which are fundamental for the persons to act more efficiently. However, there is a lack of knowledge on this aspects. The research is generally focused on the managerial aspects and not in the information ones. This paper discusses what are information environments and flows: their concepts, characteristics, levels and their inherent activities. It is concluded that the information environments and flows maintain the organizational activities in all the levels of complexity, and their results are directly proportional to the quality of the existing procedures and the results that are pretended. So, the importance of information and knowledge management for these environments and flows is showed.@en
                    [1] => Se comprende la organización por medio del enfoque sistémico, como una totalidad integrada a través de distintos niveles de relaciones. Es el resultado de las interacciones y la interdependencia de sus partes, y la información y el conocimiento constituyen el insumo del quehacer organizacional en los diferentes niveles. Los flujos de información son, por lo tanto, el oxígeno de la organización, ya que es a través de los flujos de información como la cultura y la comunicación organizacional se apoyan y alimentan los procesos existentes. Existen diferentes ambientes informacionales; y son esenciales para que las personas actúen de manera más eficiente. Sin embargo, poco se sabe o se conoce en relación a los aspectos informacionales de este contexto. Los estudios generalmente profundizan los aspectos administrativos y no los aspectos informacionales. En este artículo se presenta un debate sobre lo qué son ambientes y flujos informacionales, los conceptos, las características, los niveles y las actividades relacionadas con ellos. Se destaca que los ambientes y los flujos de información apoyan las actividades organizacionales en cualquier nivel de complejidad, cuyos resultados son directamente proporcionales a la calidad de los procedimientos existentes, así como en relación a los resultados que se deben obtener. Esto demuestra la importancia de la gestión de la información y del conocimiento para el ambiente y flujos de esta naturaleza.@es
