                    [0] => Because Spanish freshmen in the Library and Information pregraduate studies usually have not had enough previous exposure —and therefore background— to their new field of study, the different Spanish universities that are offering these studies include introductory subjects at the beginning of their syllabi. After discussing the Spanish context, a specific innovative project is presented of such a subject: “Introduction to the sciences of information and documentation” in the pregraduate studies in Library and Information Science of the University of Saragossa (Spain). The principles that have inspired its design and the teaching strategies and activities that are followed to increase students’ awareness and motivation are presented. The programme is based in the application of active learning strategies, collaborative learning, intensive use of information and communication technologies and continuous references to the development of generic skills.@en
                    [1] => Debido a que los estudiantes de pregrado españoles no han tenido normalmente un contacto fluido con la información y la documentación, los diferentes grados han planteado asignaturas introductorias para faciitar la inserción de los nuevos estudiantes.  Tras discutir el contexto español, se presenta el proyecto de innovación docente realizado para la configuración de una asignatura especialmente diseñada como puerta a la titulación: la asignatura de Fundamentos de Ciencias de Información y Documentación del Grado de Información y Documentación de la Universidad de Zaragoza. Se plantean los principios seguidos y estrategias diseñadas para incrementar la inserción docente y pre-profesional de los estudiantes, a través del refuerzo de la motivación y contextualizando el desarrollo de las competencias específicas en el marco de competencias genéricas bien comprendidas por los estudiantes. Se utilizan metodologías activas y técnicas de trabajo en grupo colaborativo.@es
