                    [1] => El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es analizar el panorama de los repertorios bibliográficos realizados en el campo artístico a través de sus diferentes manifestaciones temáticas. El interés de estos repertorios radica en su gran valor instrumental. El propósito ha sido recopilar estas bibliografías desde el siglo XX hasta hoy de forma que sirvan de orientación al investigador ante la gran cantidad de información existente para localizar y describir las fuentes conservadas en bibliotecas y centros de documentación especializados. La escasez de repertorios bibliográficos generales en el campo del arte es verdaderamente importante y ello ha ocasionado serias dificultades a la hora de obtener información sobre los trabajos de investigación en curso. La investigación ha revelado que, junto al problema de la falta de catálogos retrospectivos, se producen también otras disfunciones como solapamientos en los temas de investigación, carencia de manuales y monografías sobre materias importantes y numerosas lagunas al ignorar las publicaciones ya realizadas. No obstante, es en el ámbito de las publicaciones periódicas donde más han proliferado los repertorios artísticos@es
