                    [0] => Objective: Registration Instruction located in the Northeast region of Brazil from 2005 to 2015. Methods: It uses the methods of exploratory research according to the objectives, documentary analysis and procedures to describe the proposals submitted and characterize them as intangible cultural heritage of the Northeast Region. Results: From the data analyzed, the most expressive social tensions unfolded about the values of representativeness, recognition, community intervention without the help of a government institution and legal guidelines. Conclusions: The intangible cultural heritage is composed of a set of practices and intangible activities that can be recreated and adapted by a social group over generations. In order to guarantee the preservation of intangible assets, the National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage has a legal-administrative and social process called Registration Instruction, in which the registration of the asset in one of the books of the Intangible Heritage is made operational. The five properties in the process of registration instruction are of inherent importance for the memory, in the formation of identities, social relations, collective heritage and historical continuity.

                    [1] => Objetivo: Identificar as tensões sociais mais evidentes relacionadas a salvaguarda de cinco bens imateriais em processo de Instrução do Registro localizados na região Nordeste do Brasil de 2005 a 2015.
Método: Utiliza os métodos de pesquisa exploratória segundo os objetivos, documental conforme os procedimentos e a técnica de análise documental para descrição das propostas submetidas e caracterização destas enquanto patrimônio cultural imaterial da Região Nordeste.
Resultado: A partir dos dados analisados, as tensões sociais mais expressivas desdobraram-se acerca dos valores da representatividade, do reconhecimento, da intervenção da comunidade sem um auxílio de uma instituição governamental e de diretrizes jurídicas.
Conclusões: O patrimônio cultural imaterial é composto por um conjunto de práticas e atividades intangíveis que são passíveis de serem recriadas e adaptadas por um grupo social ao longo das gerações. Para garantir a preservação dos bens imateriais, o Instituto de Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional dispõe de um processo jurídico-administrativo e social denominado de Instrução do Registro, na qual se operacionaliza a inscrição do bem em um dos livros do Patrimônio Imaterial. Os cinco bens em processo de instrução para registro estudados, são de uma importância inerente para a memória, na formação de identidades, relações sociais, herança coletiva e continuidade histórica.@pt
