                                            [0] => I first analyse the differences and nuances in the philosophy behind the words free and open, as crystallised in the field of software. I also try, through its history and the analysis of its ecosystem, to outline the necessary deconstruction of the Intellectual Property paradigm.
In the second part, a brief account of the history of computer science, Free Software and the Internet, allows us to identify commonalities in the processes of Science and Software development, and some characteristics or realisations of the world in the digital era that can contribute to Open Science.
In the third part, I briefly speculate, based on the trajectory of Free Software so far, on the possible scope for Open Science, before concluding by returning to the central point of the need for a radical reform of the regulation of the economy of the immaterial.
                                            [1] => En primer lugar, en este trabajo analizo las diferencias y matices en la filosofía que hay tras las palabras libre y abierto, tal como se cristalizaron en el campo del software. Procuro también, a través de su historia y el análisis de su ecosistema, esbozar la necesaria deconstrucción del paradigma de la propiedad intelectual.
En una segunda parte, un breve relato de la historia de la informática, el software libre y la Internet permite identificar puntos comunes en los procesos de la ciencia y del desarrollo de software, y algunas características o realizaciones del mundo en la era digital que pueden aportar a la ciencia abierta.
En la tercera parte especulo brevemente, a partir de la trayectoria que ha sido hasta ahora la del software libre, sobre los alcances posibles para una ciencia abierta, antes de concluir volviendo al punto central de la necesidad de una reforma radical de la regulación de la economía de lo inmaterial.

Na segunda parte, um breve relato da história da informática, do Software Livre e da Internet, nos permite identificar pontos comuns nos processos de Ciência e desenvolvimento de Software, e algumas características ou realizações do mundo na era digital que podem contribuir para a Ciência Aberta.
Na terceira parte, eu especulo brevemente, com base na trajetória do Software Livre até agora, sobre o possível alcance da Ciência Aberta, antes de concluir voltando ao ponto central da necessidade de uma reforma radical da regulação da economia do imaterial.
