                                            [1] => Reflexão sobre a disciplina Metodologia do Trabalho Científico (MTC) como fomentadora da produção do conhecimento no Curso de Graduação de Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA). Aborda a dimensão pedagógica da disciplina MTC no curso de Biblioteconomia da UFMA, identificando-se de que forma esta disciplina tem contribuído para a produção científica dos discentes. O estudo foi realizado a partir de dados coletados junto aos discentes do 2º período do Curso de Biblioteconomia da UFMA, tendo como instrumento, o questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas, a observação não participante e conversas informais. Utilizou-se uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico, documental e de campo. Verificou-se que a disciplina tem contribuído para a produção do conhecimento pelos sujeitos da pesquisa.
