                    [0] => he objective is to demonstrate the relevant cooperation that exists or occurs between teaching, research and extension in the academic environment - professional, characterized by the course of Library and Information Science (LIS) and the Coordination of Social Communication (CSC), of Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), in the development, improvement and sharing of products and services offered to these internal and external publics of the University, thus benefiting such user communities, seen at the same time as receiving and collaborative of extension activity and of the strengthening of the integration process. To this end, we present the results of activities carried out by students of the course of LIS, level of extension, under the guidance of professors from the Department of Information Science (DIS) and in the context of CSC, UFSCar, especially management, organization and representation of clippings, for access and information retrieval by internal users  undergraduate and graduate students,  teachers, researchers, administrative staff - and outside the University in automated systems.@en
                    [1] => Objetiva-se demonstrar a relevante cooperação que existe e ocorre entre o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão no ambiente acadêmico - profissional, caracterizado pelo curso de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação (BCI) e pela Coordenadoria de Comunicação Social (CCS), da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar),  no desenvolvimento, aprimoramento e compartilhamento de produtos e serviços oferecidos aos referidos públicos interno e externo da Universidade, beneficiando, assim, tais comunidades usuárias, vistas, ao mesmo tempo, como colaborativas e receptoras de atividade extensionista e do fortalecimento desse processo integrador. Para tanto, apresenta-se os resultados de atividades desenvolvidas pelos discentes do curso de BCI, em nível de extensão, sob orientação de docentes do Departamento de Ciência da Informação (DCI) e  no contexto da (CCS), da UFSCar, com destaque para a gestão, organização e representação de clippings, visando o acesso e a recuperação da informação jornalística pelos usuários internos – discentes de graduação, pós-graduação, docentes, pesquisadores, técnicos administrativos - e externos da Universidade em sistemas automatizados.
