                    [0] => It analyzes the contribution of the private library known as Carmeval for the readers’
formation. Presents the main types of library and discourses concerning the reading, readers’
formation, and citizenship. It characterizes the Carmeval Library and its users, as well as
identifying satisfaction, reasons for the search of the unit and the contribution of the library
for the readers’ formation. It is a field research with a qualitative and quantitative boarding
that investigates the founder of the Carmeval Library and 10.5% of its users, by means of one

questionnaire, presenting questions on the profile, opinions and suggestions related to the
Library and its role in the readers’ formation and incentive the practical readers. The analysis
and results of the collected data displayed in tables. It concludes that the library comes
assuming the role of a public library and suggests, amongst other actions, its availability in
Internet, and a specific quantity for the infantile public and bigger spreading.@en
                    [1] => Analisa a contribuição da Biblioteca Carmeval do tipo particular para a formação de leitores.
Teoricamente, apresenta os principais tipos de biblioteca e discorre acerca da leitura,
formação de leitores e cidadania. Objetiva caracterizar a Biblioteca Carmeval e seus usuários,
bem como identificar a satisfação, os motivos pela procura da unidade e a contribuição da
biblioteca para a formação de leitores. Metodologicamente é uma pesquisa de campo com
abordagem quali-quantitativa que investiga 10,5% de seus usuários, por meio de um
questionário, apresentando questões sobre o perfil, opiniões e sugestões relacionadas à
Biblioteca e o seu papel na formação de leitores e incentivo a práticas leitoras. A análise e
resultados dos dados coletados encontram-se expostos em quadros e analisadas
estatisticamente. Tomando como base os resultados, conclui-se que a biblioteca vem
assumindo o papel de uma biblioteca pública e sugere, dentre outras ações, a sua
disponibilização na Internet, um acervo específico para o público infantil e maior divulgação.@pt
