                    [0] => Taking inspiration from the film “Erin Brockovich”, based on a true story, and using it as a starting point, the work seeks to analyze the importance of access to information and documents as warranty of the citizens’ individual and collective rights. Among several obstacles that may create, disorganization of records is an important hindrance to their access, imposing limits on compliance with legislation, reinforcing the lack of transparency of States, and contributing to the maintenance of interests and the hegemony of influential groups that hold power. In that context, we highlight the example of Brazilian legislation, which emphasizes a standardization of documents of confidential nature in detriment to the access devices to information and documents. In synthesis, the questions raised in this work seek to foment reflection on the social instruments used by different groups that allow affirming that society, due to its lack of awareness of as its life depends on documents, also fails to recognize the importance of records and archivists.@en
                    [1] => Tomando por base a produção cinematográfica, “Erin Brockovich”, o trabalho objetiva analisar a importância do acesso à informação e aos documentos como garantia dos direitos individuais e coletivos dos cidadãos. Dentre vários obstáculos, a questão da desorganização dos arquivos configura-se um importante óbice para acessá-los, impondo limites ao cumprimento da legislação, reforçando a falta de transparência dos Estados, contribuindo para a manutenção de interesses e a hegemonia dos grupos influentes que estão no poder. Nesse contexto, destacamos a questão da legislação brasileira, que enfatiza a normalização dos documentos de caráter sigiloso em detrimento aos dispositivos de acesso à informação e aos documentos. Em síntese, as questões expostas neste trabalho buscam as reflexões sobre os instrumentos sociais utilizados pelos diferentes grupos, que nos permitem afirmar que a sociedade por não possuir a consciência de como sua vida depende dos documentos, não reconhece também a importância dos arquivos e a relevância do trabalho desenvolvido pelos arquivistas.@pt
