In the current context of society, where information is still present in great volume, organizations must dedicate themselves to the development of an organizational culture focused on the use and management of information. In this context, the existence of competent information professionals capable of organizing, collecting, storing, relating, interpreting, treating, selecting, discarding, accessing and using information in an effective and efficient way for decision making and execution of the information is of great importance. tasks. The objective of the research is to verify if there is an informational culture focused on the development of the information competence of the professionals of a Family Health Unit. For that, a descriptive-exploratory research of a qualitative nature was used as methodology. As a data collection instrument, a semi-structured interview was used, and for data analysis, the content analysis method. The results showed that the research organization did not have an information culture focused on the effective development of information competence, but its professionals possessed the potential for this development to occur.@en
                    [1] => A cultura organizacional disponibiliza as condições para que os indivíduos possam realizar suas tarefas em ambientes organizacionais. No contexto atual da sociedade, onde a informação segue presente em grande volume, as organizações devem se dedicar ao desenvolvimento de uma cultura organizacional voltada a valorização do uso e da gestão da informação. Nesse contexto, é de grande importância a existência de profissionais competentes em informação, capazes de organizar, coletar, armazenar, relacionar, interpretar, tratar, selecionar, descartar, acessar e utilizar a informação de forma efetiva e eficiente para tomada de decisões e execução das tarefas. O objetivo da pesquisa é verificar se existe uma cultura informacional voltada ao desenvolvimento da competência em informação dos profissionais de uma Unidade de Saúde da Família. Para tanto, utilizou-se como metodologia uma pesquisa descritivo-exploratória de natureza qualitativa. Como instrumento de coleta de dados, foi utilizado entrevista semiestruturada, e para análise dos dados, o método de análise de conteúdo. Os resultados demonstraram que a organização pesquisada não possuía uma cultura informacional voltada ao desenvolvimento efetivo da competência em informação, mas seus profissionais possuíam potencial para que esse desenvolvimento pudesse ocorrer.@pt
