                    [0] => The record of indigenous information in dissertations and theses permits the preservation of the indigenous knowledge and it is an element of remembrance of the history and the achievements of the indigenous peoples. In this context, it is inserted the present communication whose objective is to investigate the indigenous information sources that are in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations of the Federal University of Paraiba. The research is descriptive and exploratory with quantitative and qualitative approach. Its universe is composed by 28 productions: five thesis and 23 dissertations. The data collection was done in 2016, by means of a questionnaire available at the website of the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations of the Federal University of Paraiba, using the following terms: Indians, indigenous, indigenous people and indigenous information. It is sought information about two indicators: postgraduate programs and production characteristics (authorship, advisors, year of defense, themes and researched ethnicities). The research results show a relevant production about indigenous information which contemplates diversified themes and ethnicities, as well as a highlighted feminine presence among authors and advisors. It is concluded that the production about indigenous information represents an inestimable contribution to increase the visibility of the indigenous peoples, favoring the understanding of questions related to these peoples, besides the contribution for the insertion of the memory of these people in the collective memory.@en
                    [1] => O registro da informação indígena nas dissertações e teses permite a preservação do conhecimento indígena e serve de elemento de rememoração da história e dos feitos dos povos indígenas. Nesse contexto se insere a presente comunicação que tem como objetivo investigar as fontes de informação indígena presentes na Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da Universidade Federal da Paraíba. A pesquisa é descritiva e exploratória e de abordagem quanti-qualitativa e o seu universo é composto de 28 produções, sendo cinco teses e 23 dissertações. A coleta de dados realizou-se em 2016, através de um levantamento realizado na homepage da Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da Universidade Federal da Paraíba, utilizando-se os seguintes termos: índios, indígenas, povos indígenas e informação indígena. Buscaram-se informações sobre dois indicadores: programas de pós-graduação e características da produção (autoria, orientadores, ano de defesa, temáticas e etnias abordadas). Os resultados da pesquisa apontam uma produção relevante sobre informação indígena que contempla temáticas e etnias diversificadas e uma marcante presença feminina entre autores e orientadores. Conclui-se que a produção sobre informação indígena representa uma contribuição inestimável para ampliar a visibilidade dos povos indígenas e favorece o entendimento das questões relacionadas a esses povos, além de contribuir para a inserção da memória desses povos na memória coletiva.@pt
