                                            [0] => This article depicts the initial stage (March-June 2016) of research undertaken in the context of cultural heritage, in particular the process of patrimonialization, covering the period from 1982 to 2003, as part of the research project “Patrimonialization and Musealization – Intangible Cultural Assets: from the shadows to national and global value,” which investigates how patrimonialization and musealization are addressed by entities engaged with the safeguard of cultural heritage from 1931 (Athens Charter) to the present day. Its goal is to identify and interpret, in the ambit of both cultural heritage per se and musealized heritage, the presence of any interdependency between tangible and intangible in the “meaning matrix,” which represents the perceptions, appraisals, and actions representing intangible cultural manifestations before the creation of the category of “intangible cultural heritage” in Brazil (IPHAN, 2000) and internationally (UNESCO, 2003). Theoretically, the work draws conceptually and operationally on “symbolic power” (Bourdieu) in the attribution of the value of heritage and the application of legislation for its safeguard, as well as authors from the field of museology and other knowledge domains to address cultural heritage- and museum-related issues (musealized heritage). Exploratory research, it draws on primary and secondary sources, especially those produced by cultural heritage agencies, and makes a comparative analysis of the meanings attributed to the qualification of intangible manifestations of heritage. The preliminary findings of the first three months of the research, focused exclusively on the manifestations of patrimonialization, already reveal the inclusion of references to intangible features in documents discussing tangible heritage. This implies that such interdependency was present, even without directly indicating the existence of cultural heritage of an intangible nature. The ways it has taken shape in the realm of cultural heritage and its occurrence in museums (musealization) are phases of the research yet to be undertaken. 
                                            [1] => O artigo retrata a fase inicial de estudos (março/junho 2016) desenvolvidos no panorama patrimonialista, segmento da Patrimonialização com recorte temporal 1982-2003, no bojo da pesquisa “Patrimonialização e Musealização - Bem Cultural Imaterial: da Sombra ao Valor Nacional e Mundial” cujo desenho completo aborda a integração da Patrimonialização e Musealização na relação com instâncias dedicadas à salvaguarda do patrimônio no período de 1931 (Carta de Atenas) ao atual. E tem por finalidade identificar, interpretar tanto no ambiente do patrimônio propriamente dito como no patrimônio musealizado a presença da interdependência intangível-tangível refletida na “matriz de significações”, imagem das percepções, apreciações, ações representando as manifestações culturais imateriais antes da determinação da categoria Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial estabelecida em planos nacional e internacional, respectivamente, IPHAN, 2000, UNESCO, 2003. Apoio teórico: exercício conceitual e operacional do “poder simbólico” (Bourdieu) para atribuição do valor patrimonial e aplicação de normativas para salvaguarda; autores do campo da Museologia e de outros domínios do conhecimento para questões de patrimônio e museu (patrimônio musealizado). Pesquisa exploratória que usa fontes primárias e secundárias, especialmente das instâncias. E desenvolve análise comparativa das significações aplicadas à qualificação das manifestações imateriais. Os resultados preliminares nos três meses de realização da pesquisa estudando, exclusivamente, as manifestações da patrimonialização já permitem observar a inserção das referências ao aspecto imaterial no contexto de documentos tratando do patrimônio material. Tal perspectiva leva a indicar que o caráter da interdependência estava presente, embora sem apontar a sua qualidade de patrimônio com face imaterial. As formas pelas quais se apresentou no solo patrimonial, bem como se deu a ocorrência nos museus (musealização) são fases da pesquisa que ainda serão realizadas.
