                    [0] => This work aims to identify the nature of the information access factors for Visually Impaired (VI), considering their health promotion. A narrative literature review in the areas of Information Science, Social, Human and Health Sciences was held. A conceptual model has been proposed, composed by three support shafts in information access by VI. The first concerns the individual capacities to deal with routine and problematic daily activities (Cognitive Support). The second refers to social inclusion and VI’s social networks (Social Support). The third consists of the aspects about the Information and Communication Technology uses (ICT) and Assistive Technology (AT). The results provides an overview of possible facilitating and inhibiting factors in information access by people with severe visual limitations and open ways for future research aimed at discussing the theme, exploring empirically and in-depth experiences of everyday life of the VI.@en
                    [1] => O presente trabalho tem como objetivo identificar a natureza dos fatores de acesso à informação pelo Deficiente Visual (DV), tendo em vista a promoção da saúde desses indivíduos. Para tal, foi realizada uma revisão narrativa da literatura das áreas de Ciência da Informação, Ciências Sociais, Humanas e da Saúde. Foi proposto um modelo conceitual composto por três eixos de suporte no acesso à informação pelo DV. O primeiro diz respeito às capacidades individuais de lidar com as atividades cotidianas rotineiras e problemáticas (Suporte Cognitivo). O segundo refere-se à inclusão social e às redes de relacionamento do DV (Suporte Social). O terceiro consiste nos aspectos acerca dos usos da Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (TIC) e Tecnologia Assistiva. Os resultados permitiram uma visão panorâmica de possíveis fatores facilitadores e dificultadores no acesso à informação por pessoas com limitações visuais severas e abre campo para futuras pesquisas que visem debater a temática, explorando empiricamente e em profundidade experiências de vida cotidiana do DV.@pt
