                    [0] => The underlying semantic to a knowledge organization system (KOS) can be identified in the concept of warrant on which the system is based (Beghtol, 1986). In this sense, the semantic warrant is considered the principle applied to the construction, development and SOCs assessment to justify and validate meanings. Concerning this situation, an arena of reflection was established in order to investigate the notion of warrant, the founding elements of this principle and its unfolding and the resulting inflections of the actions of information in the current socio-technical panorama. For this purpose, the theoretical legacy of Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951) and Mikhail Bakhtin (1895-1975) was used. Two philosophers of language who, at different times and in different contexts, conceived of ideas that would transform the notions of language and meaning. It was deduced that, while their initial proposal was linked to a requirement for rules and the level efficiency related to measurements of the frequency of words in documents, today the semantic warrant principle covers a series of aspects and precepts related to the formation of meaning in KOS, capable of orienting them in their projection, development and evaluation. The idea of warrant in KO is thus understood in the argument in favor of the existence of facts and phenomena of reality that are capable of being assigned a meaning. The establishment of meaning through/in language certifies the permanent commitment that the warrant triggers in KOS.@en
                    [1] => A ordem semântica subjacente a um sistema de organização do conhecimento (SOC) pode ser identificada no conceito da garantia sobre qual o sistema se baseia (BEGHTOL, 1986). Nesse sentido, a garantia semântica é considerada o princípio aplicado à construção, desenvolvimento e avaliação de SOCs para justificar e validar significados. Sobre esta conjuntura estabeleceu-se uma arena de reflexões com o objetivo de investigar a noção de garantia, dos elementos fundantes de tal princípio e de seus desdobramentos e inflexões decorrentes das ações de informação no atual panorama sociotécnico. Para isso, recorreu-se ao legado teórico de Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951) e Mikhail Bakhtin (1895-1975). Dois filósofos da linguagem que, em períodos e contextos distintos, conceberam ideias transformadoras acerca da linguagem e do significado. Deduziu-se que, se o propósito inaugural estava vinculado a um requisito de regramento e seu nível de eficiência relacionado a métricas de frequência de palavras em documentos, hoje o princípio da garantia semântica cobre uma série de aspectos e preceitos relacionados à afiguração do significado nos SOCs, capaz de orientá-los em sua projeção, desenvolvimento e avaliação. A ideia de garantia na OC é assim compreendida na argumentação em favor da existência de fatos e fenômenos da realidade passíveis de significação. O estabelecimento de significado pela/na linguagem certifica o compromisso permanente de sentido que a garantia provoca nos SOCs.@pt
