                    [0] => Research about accessibility of the deaf in museums, aiming to discuss the theme in the Brazilian literature and its influence in the museum’s reality. It has social inclusion perspective, focusing specially the rights of visitors with disabilities to visit museums as an opportunity for understanding all informational elements available, without barriers, mainly the communication one. The bibliographic research was based in four data sources: Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), the site of the Instituto Brasileiro de Museus (IBRAM) (Brazilian National Institute of Museum), the repository Benancib, which provides access to the research in the field of Information Science in Brazil, and the site of the Instituto Nacional de Educação de Surdos (INES- National Institute for the Education of Deaf). Some museums are pointed in the literature as good examples of successful experiences of accessibility to handicap people. The results show a gap in the scientific communication via journals in Brazil, maybe because of this subject, accessibility of handicap people is relatively new and in expansion. In this way, it is more concentrated in scientific events from different fields. The authors point to the need of developing specific actions to allow that anyone can visit a museum with autonomy, comfort and safety, being capable of exploring all its attractions and feeling welcomed in it.@en
                    [1] => Pesquisa sobre acessibilidade de surdos a museus tendo como objetivo discutir a temática na literatura brasileira e seu reflexo na realidade museal. Tem como enfoque a inclusão social, o direito de portadores de deficiências terem acesso ao espaço museal como oportunidade de compreensão de todos os elementos de informações disponíveis, sem barreiras, principalmente as de comunicação e informação. Foi realizada pesquisa bibliográfica em quatro fontes: Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), Portal do Instituto Brasileiro de Museus (IBRAM), o repositório Benancib que agrega as pesquisas realizadas na Ciência da Informação, e o Portal do Instituto Nacional de Educação de Surdos (INES). Alguns museus são apontados como experiências bem sucedidas de acesso a pessoas com deficiência. Os resultados apontam para uma lacuna na comunicação científica via periódicos brasileiros, talvez por ser a acessibilidade a pessoas com deficiência um tema relativamente novo e em expansão, dessa forma tem sido mais debatida em eventos científicos de diferentes áreas. Os autores sinalizam a necessidade de desenvolvimento de ações específicas para que qualquer pessoa ao visitar um museu o faça com autonomia, conforto e segurança, e possa explorá-lo e se sentir acolhido.@pt
