                                            [0] => This research aims develop a methodological approach, combining the techniques of Typological Analysis and Documentary Analysis, oriented contextual understanding of the production of the acquits of Judgment Orphans of eight, from the comparative analysis Similar lawsuits, but produced at different times. The temporal boundaries for this study were determined by the date of creation of the Brazilian Orphans Court, after the great reform of the judiciary from the 1824 Constitution until the Republic Proclamation (1889). The presented theoretical concepts, historical, features, models and experiences on issues, diplomatic, typological analysis on archives and intersections between them, and documentary analysis and indexing language. In the first stage of the development methodology, it was recognized the information content of the set of documents under study from Typological Analysis and methods Archival. In the second phase, we identified the characteristics of the documents themselves, applying knowledge of Documentary Analysis, especially in the controlled vocabulary files. We realized that to better recover the information contained in the permanent archive documentation is necessary to bring together different methodologies. 
                                            [1] => O objetivo desta pesquisa foi desenvolver um percurso metodológico, unindo-se as técnicas da Tipologia Documental e da Análise Documentária, orientado à compreensão contextual da produção do acervo do Juízo de Órfãos dos oitocentos, a partir da análise comparativa entre processos judiciais similares, mas produzidos em épocas distintas. As balizas temporais para esta pesquisa foram determinadas pela data da criação do Juízo de Órfãos pela legislação brasileira, depois da grande reforma do Judiciário a partir da Constituição de 1824, até a Proclamação da República (1889). O referencial teórico apresentou conceitos, histórico, características, modelos e experiências sobre as temáticas, diplomática, análise tipológica em arquivos e a interseções entre elas, e análise documentária e vocabulário controlado. Na primeira fase do desenvolvimento da metodologia, reconheceu-se o conteúdo informativo do conjunto documental objeto do estudo, a partir de métodos da Tipologia Documental e da Arquivologia. Na segunda fase, identificaram-se as características dos documentos propriamente ditos, aplicando-se os conhecimentos da Análise Documentária, em especial do vocabulário controlado em arquivos. Percebeu-se que, para melhor recuperar as informações contidas na documentação arquivística de caráter permanente é preciso congregar metodologias distintas.
