                    [0] => This paper discusses the proposition that files are arguably cultural memory institutions, also known  in  the  literature  as  places  of  memory,  according  to  Pierre  Nora,  invested  of  a  "symbolic aura" that goes beyond its purely material appearance and functionality. It highlights  the  role  of  archives  as  guardians  of  the  materials  of  memory  and  history,  that  house documents in a broad sense, constituting primary research sources, carriers of the information  that  reflect  the  activities  that  gave  rise  to  them.  It  emphasizes  that  memory  finds its anchor in those places, where the imagination supposes that truth is also kept. It proposes the analysis of the contradictions observed in the examination of documents, here called "sensitive", produced in the context of the 1964 military dictatorship in Brazil.@en
                    [1] => Discussão  da  proposição  dos  arquivos  como  instituições  de  memória  cultural,  também  conhecidos na literatura como lugares de memória, conforme Pierre Nora, investidos de uma  “aura  simbólica”  para  além  de  sua  aparência  meramente  material  e  de  sua  funcionalidade.
