                    [0] => The article focuses the social inclusion of people with visual disabilities in the museum space, accessibility, with the support of theoretical studies on the Special Information and use of Assistive Technology. The objectives focused on identifying and analyzing the service to this segment of audience at the museum in the visitation area and the web spaces (virtual visits). The case study selected three Museums of meaningful expression in the Brazilian scene, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro and with different approaches specialty theme: National History Museum, (History) Museum of Fine Arts, (Arts); Museum of Astronomy and Related Sciences, (Science). Beside the analysis of national and international sources on the theme of accessibility the research also included: data from a survey conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Museums, IBRAM (official source of the museum field); visits to the physical location of the three museums through a questionnaire that was created for the diagnosis of conditions offered for local attendance, and also virtual visits to museums (websites) with the use of an international model for testing the standard of accessibility. The results of research in the two areas of museums indicated deficiencies in the conditions of service for the visiting public with a visual impairment. This fact has been pointed out that, although it is in focus in the field of Museology the debate on nominated Inclusive Museum, at this moment and at Museums which are surveyed, there is a gap between rhetoric and practice of inclusion. In fact, verified by the difficulty of finding sources of information dealing with the use of modern proposals in charge of the Special Information and Assistive Technology, conceptual and practical models that define the design of the accessibility that leads to social inclusion.@en
                    [1] => O artigo aborda o tema da inclusão social da pessoa com deficiência visual no espaço museológico, a Acessibilidade, tendo como apoio teórico os estudos relativos à Informação Especial e ao uso da Tecnologia Assistiva. Os objetivos focalizaram identificar e analisar o atendimento a este segmento de público visitante do Museu nas áreas físicas de circulação (visitação presencial) e nos espaços web (visitação virtual). O estudo de caso desenvolvido selecionou três Museus de significativa expressão no cenário brasileiro, localizados na cidade do Rio de Janeiro e com enfoques diferenciados de especialidade temática: Museu Histórico Nacional, MHN (História); Museu Nacional de Belas Artes, MNBA (Artes); Museu de Astronomia e Ciências Afins, MAST, (Ciências). Ao lado da análise de fontes nacionais e internacionais dedicadas ao tema da acessibilidade a pesquisa também incluiu: dados de levantamento realizado pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Museus, IBRAM (fonte oficial do campo museológico); visitação aos espaços físicos dos três Museus aplicando-se formulário elaborado pela pesquisa para diagnóstico das condições oferecidas para atendimento nos locais e, ainda, visitação aos museus virtuais (sites na internet) com aplicação de modelo de uso internacional para testar o padrão de acessibilidade. A interpretação dos resultados obtidos nos dois espaços dos Museus apontou carências nas condições de atendimento para a visitação museológica do segmento de público com deficiência visual. Tal fato vem indicar que, embora já esteja em foco no campo da Museologia o debate sobre o denominado Museu Inclusivo, no momento e nos Museus pesquisados, existe um hiato entre o discurso e a prática da inclusão. Inclusive, verificado pela dificuldade de encontrar fontes de consulta tratando do uso das modernas propostas a cargo da Informação Especial e da Tecnologia Assistiva, modelos conceituais e práticos que definem o desenho da acessibilidade que conduz à inclusão social.@pt
