                    [0] => During the period of 2001 to 2004 a research study was done with the boy scouts of the Greater Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte (RMBH). The objective was to analyze their informational practices, in particular those using Internet as a communicational channel. This article presents the method of the research, in particular the use of tools to collect data from focus groups. This article proposes the possibility of establishing focus groups online. It discusses the advantages ands disadvantages of the use of this technique via the Internet. It is not intended to present here the whole research study, including its fundamental theories, justifications, motives, data collection and analysis, and finally, its findings. The proposition of this work takes into consideration the discussion of the methods covered, principally with regards to the implementation of focus groups. The research accomplished appears as the foundation to exemplify the adoption of the technique.@en
                    [1] => No período de 2001 a 2004, foi feita uma pesquisa entre escoteiros da Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte – RMBH, a fim de analisar suas práticas informacionais, em particular aquelas feitas utilizando como canal de comunicação a Internet. O presente artigo tem por finalidade apresentar a metodologia de pesquisa adotada na época, em particular discutir o uso da ferramenta de coleta de dados de grupos focais. O artigo coloca em pauta a possibilidade de se realizar grupos focais online, discutindo as vantagens e desvantagens do uso dessa técnica via Internet. Não se pretende apresentar, aqui, a pesquisa completa, incluindo sua fundamentação teórica, justificativa, motivação, coleta e análise de dados e, finalmente, resultados. O propósito deste trabalho compreende a discussão da abordagem metodológica, principalmente no que tange à implementação de grupos focais, e a pesquisa realizada aparece como pano de fundo para exemplificar a adoção da técnica.@pt
