                                            [0] => Guided by the theoretical and methodological concepts about some questions concerning cultural identity, the present study analyzes the contribution of the contents spread by the string literature in the process of building and maintenance of the cultural identity. Developed from a qualitative-descriptive approach, the research is carried out in two phases: bibliographical and exploratory. It presents analysis of three stories that show the relation between cultural identity and contents in the string literature. The results reveal a strong presence of elements and/or cultural manifestations in the contents spread in the string literature.
                                            [1] => Guiado pelos conceitos teórico-metodológicos das questões relativas à identidade cultural, o presente estudo analisa a contribuição dos conteúdos disseminados na literatura de cordel no processo de construção e manutenção da identidade cultural. Desenvolvida a partir de uma abordagem qualitativo-descritiva, a pesquisa é realizada em duas fases: exploratória e bibliográfica. Apresenta análise de três cordéis que evidenciam a relação entre identidade cultura e os conteúdos abordados nesta literatura. Tem como resultado a forte presença de elementos e/ou manifestações culturais nos conteúdos disseminados na literatura de cordel.
