Platão, recontextualizando o conceito de simulacro, particularmente, n’A República. Em seguida, analisa resumidamente algumas das repercussões da herança platônica no debate interessado na crítica política e cultural contemporânea, introduzindo como alternativa a densa e criativa Filosofia da Diferença praticada especialmente por Gilles Deleuze e sua proposta de reversão do platonismo.
