                    [0] => This study concerns the various theoretical and technical aspects that characterize the processes of transference of information disseminated by Brazilian public archival institutions on the internet. Empirical research was undertaken in order to assess the relations of the internet with the public archives, with its users and with the Access to Information Act. Data were collected on the websites of brazilian archival institutions. Interviews were conducted with users of public archives. The transformation that the internet imposes to the transference of archival information allows more access to it on the same token that increases institutional and social visibility. However, it also means new challenges in the management of archival information. Thus, the internet may be able to reestablish the archival institution as a public facility of accessibility and legitimacy, despite its problems and limitations. The availability of archives on the web redefines the horizons of information access, expands the possibilities of archival information transference, and consequently the civil and political rights of the citizen.@en
                    [1] => Breve abordagem sobre aspectos teóricos e técnicos que caracterizam os processos de transferência da informação difundida pelas instituições arquivísticas públicas brasileiras na internet. Para tal, foram empreendidas pesquisas empíricas com o objetivo de verificar as relações da internet com os arquivos públicos, com seus usuários e com a Lei de Acesso à Informação. Foram utilizadas consultas aos sites de instituições arquivísticas públicas brasileiras na internet e entrevistas com usuários de arquivos públicos. A transformação que a internet impõe à transferência da informação arquivística permite uma maior possibilidade de acesso pelos usuários, bem como uma maior visibilidade institucional e social da instituição arquivística. Porém, implica também em novos desafios na gestão da informação arquivística. Assim, a internet pode vir a reposicionar a instituição arquivística como espaço público de acesso e legitimação, mesmo com seus problemas e limites. A disponibilização dos acervos arquivísticos na rede redefine os horizontes de acesso à informação, amplia as possibilidades de transferência da informação arquivística, e consequentemente os direitos civis e políticos do cidadão.@pt
