                    [0] => Neste artigo, apresentamos a questão da presença marcante da violência em nosso quotidiano, em particular refletindo sobre o aumento considerável do número de detentos nos últimos dez anos. Fazemos considerações sobre o término do tempo de cumprimento das penas e a situação destes cidadãos ao regressarem à sociedade. Identificamos a falta de perspectivas e as “portas fechadas” da sociedade que raramente permite uma segunda chance a estas pessoas. Mostramos alguns exemplos de ações de perspectivas de reinclusão social desta camada da sociedade. Por fim, relatamos o Projeto da Universidade de Brasília “Reciclando Papéis e Vidas”, com o apoio financeiro do Ministério da Justiça e da ONG Brazilfoundation.Palavras-chaveViolência. Papel.Social reinsertion of ex-prisoners from the prison house system through government policies, education, employment andcommunityAbstractThis article discusses the issue of the ever-growing violence in daily life, especially making a reflection about the considerable increase in number of prisoners for the last ten years. The end of prisonment penalty is taken into consideration, as well as the situation of these citizens as they come back to society, where there are no perspectives for them, facing the “closed doors” of society, and they hardly are given a second chance. Some examples of actions of perspectives are presented concerning the social reinclusion of this social stratum. Finally, a description is presented about the Project of University of Brasilia, “Recycling Papers and Lives”, funded by the Ministry of Justice and Brazil Foundation.KeywordsViolence.
